P&CG Achieves Diamond Level Recognition in ABC STEP Safety Management System

P&CG has announced it has achieved Diamond Level recognition in Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) STEP Safety Management System, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to workplace safety excellence for 2025.

The Diamond Level achievement represents the highest tier of recognition within the STEP program, demonstrating P&CG’s dedication to developing and maintaining superior safety standards across all operations. This accomplishment reflects the company’s comprehensive approach to protecting its workforce and creating safer construction environments.

In addition to the Diamond Level recognition, P&CG has been accepted as a member of the ABC Health and Safety Alliance. This membership underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to workforce health and safety, active participation in the ABC STEP Health and Safety Management System, and strong leadership in ensuring all construction workers return home safe, healthy and fulfilled each day.

The STEP Safety Management System, founded more than three decades ago, provides a proven framework that enables organizations to measure, strengthen and build industry-leading safety programs. Top-performing ABC members participating in STEP achieve incident rates nearly seven times safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics construction industry average.

STEP participants undergo rigorous evaluation of their safety processes and policies through detailed questionnaires covering key safety components.
