Safety Training, Procedures, and Events

We build safety into every level of the company, from new hire orientation to site-specific job briefings. Every season starts with our company-wide Safety Kickoff Day, and every division gets focused, hands-on training in our dedicated facility.

Our 2-day New Hire Orientation gives every employee a solid foundation in field safety expectations before they step on site.

Dedicated In-House Safety Education

Since opening in November 2024, our training shop and classroom have transformed the way we prepare our workforce for the field.

This facility provides a controlled environment where crews engage in rigorous, hands-on, and task-specific instruction without the distractions of an active job site. By enabling us to host manufacturer and industry-leading curriculums directly in-house, we have significantly bolstered our continued education initiatives to ensure every team member is fully prepared before starting work. This significant investment in our safety culture further strengthens our commitment to being best in class, as demonstrated by the more than 18,000 hours of comprehensive training delivered annually across the organization.

The training shop incorporates a specialized Confined Space Mezzanine (shown in the back left of the photo), allowing us to conduct realistic entry and rescue drills, including non-entry scenarios, alongside hands-on electrical vault work like wire splicing, racking, and coring.

This facility also serves as testing ground for our natural gas employees to maintain their operator qualifications, where they are evaluated by our team of in-house OQ managers who possess an average of 25 years of industry experience.
