TTCI Delivers Landmark Project: Sentry Bridge at Watkins Glen State Park Now Open
Power & Construction Group (P&CG) is proud to recognize and congratulate our partner company, Twin Tiers Construction, Inc. (TTCI), on the successful completion of one of the region’s most anticipated infrastructure projects — the replacement of the iconic Sentry Bridge at Watkins Glen State Park.
After nearly a year of active construction and a nearly five-year process from initial discovery to ribbon cutting, the new Sentry Bridge officially opened to the public on July 2, 2026. TTCI served as the general contractor on this $7.5 million project, which was funded through New York State’s NY Works program and brought together skilled local companies to deliver an exceptional result.
The project presented unique challenges, including working within the natural environment of the park’s stunning gorge — yet the TTCI team met those challenges with the expertise, craftsmanship, and professionalism that define their work. The finished bridge stands as a testament to what dedicated, skilled construction professionals can accomplish, and it is built to serve the park’s approximately 1.4 million annual visitors for generations to come.
P&CG’s Manager of Office Operations, Seana Ellis, had the privilege of attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside Aaron Washburn and Andy Bertch.
“Congratulations to the entire TTCI team on reaching this significant milestone!” said Ellis. “It was great to be there to celebrate the successful completion of the project and see how beautiful it is in person. Please join me in giving TTCI a well-deserved round of applause for their hard work, dedication, and accomplishment.”
The significance of the project extends well beyond the bridge itself. Regional Director of the Finger Lakes State Park system, Fred Bonn, noted that the project supported hundreds of local families and that the level of craftsmanship on display is something visitors will be able to see and feel for years to come.
We couldn’t agree more. TTCI’s work on the Sentry Bridge is a proud moment for our entire P&CG family, and a shining example of what our team brings to every project — commitment, skill, and results that speak for themselves.
Congratulations again, TTCI, on a job very well done!
